Der Kopf ist wie ein Garten, pflegst man ihn so wachsen schöne bunten Blumen und tolle Pflanzen, und kümmert man sich nicht, so wird er nach und nach verwuchern und Unkraut wird sich ausbreiten. Jeder Gedanke, den wir denken, ist wie ein Samen den wir säen und wir haben die Macht darüber, wie unser Garten aussehen soll. Reden wir gut mit uns oder tadeln wir? Nehmen wir Dinge persöhnlich? Ziehen voreilige Schlüsse? All das und vieles mehr beeinflusst uns jeden Tag. Wie soll dein Garten aussehen?

Während der Produktion der Skulpturen ging mir wieder mal dieses Bild durch den Kopf. Ich mag, es so zu betrachten. Das Holz stand für mich symbolisch für einen schönen Garten oder einen gepflegten Wald. Und es wurde sehr aufwendig bearbeitet und behandelt, so wie die Gedanken.

The mind is like a garden, if you take care of it, beautiful colorful flowers and great plants will grow, and if you do not take care of it, it will gradually become overgrown and weeds will spread. Every thought we think is like a seed we sow and we have the power over how our garden will look. Do we talk well to ourselves or do we blame? Do we take things personally? Do we jump to conclusions? All this and much more influences us every day. What do you want your garden to look like?

During the production of the sculptures, this image crossed my mind again. I like to look at it that way. For me, the wood was symbolic of a beautiful garden or a well-tended forest. And it was processed and treated very elaborately, just like the thoughts.
